Dog Baseball

It's fall, and in Washington fall = rain.

Rain doesn't stop the hounds from wanting their daily walk. Well actually, Logo would be perfectly happy to stay warm and dry on the couch, but Harry loves his walks. It's a pretty good time for the humans too because the trees are so pretty in our local parks:

These leaves are so bright and red that it's almost blinding to look at. Obviously, my camera phone doesn't do them justice.

But the one thing that Harry likes more than walks? The baseball fields. That's because we let him off leash so he can get his wiggles out. When we get to the intersection where we go right to the park or straight to the fields he starts dancing around like crazy, trying to get you to go to the fields.

Since he didn't get a walk yesterday he was all antsy in his pantsy to go run. I was super wet & muddy & I'd made a poor footwear choice and wore my wool Birkenstocks, but Harry was not to be denied. He was super happy blasting around in the soaking grass. Notice his little paw tracks all over the mud.
