The problem is that these layouts aren't easy to come by. They require going into the HTML (I wrote about HTML previously) and changing the code a little bit so that in theory, my layout will adapt to the size of your monitor, rather than staying static. Since I don't actually know HTML I'm using my two best tools--trial-and-error and guess-and-check. So the moral of the story is if stuff looks a little wonky, just be patient!
And now, a demonstration of why this layout is better. Here's a snapshot of a recent blog. The picture is as wide as the previous text body allowed. Here's how the same column looks on this layout:

I like it. I gave up on appearance. I'm settled for the "Just get the information to the people." format.
Congrats for continuing to grow brain cells in the face of adversity.
First of all, owls? No. Second creepiest animal, just behinds possums!!
Secondly, I'm totally OCD about format and how it looks. I recently went back through all my posts to make sure all the fonts were the same.
Just don't let all that tech mumbo jumbo get in the way of you getting me my blogs! And don't even think about correcting my english or spelling.....
I like the new format, however, I will stick with whatever shows up on my screen GBook
I messed my blog all up earlier. I had the dynamic screen-width going, but I used a corrupt 3rd party to do it and it disabled comments to my blog.
