thrilling. But the hounds know nothing of sandbagging, clogged storm drains or flood insurance and were demanding a decent walk just the same, so we all donned our rain jackets and set out to make the best of it.It was raining pretty hard when we started out and soon upgraded to "raining really hard." The cool thing was that the hard rain
made really neat splashes in the puddles by the curb. Yeah, you can definitely see the asphalt patch where they repaired the curb last year, but we're going to call it "urban art."Of course, the whole time I enjoying the wonders of nature in Suburbia I had two sets of baleful brown eyes boring into me, wondering how I could ever subject them to such torture. What was I thinking, going out for a walk in such rain? Was I crazy? Because of course it must have been my idea.
Harry was a little bit
more of a trooper, but maybe that's 'cause he has a hood. (It's not brindle discrimination, it's just what they had at the ROOtique at the time).
But poor Logo... have you ever seen a more pitiful, sodden greyhound?

I remember the day when you proclaimed "No dog of mine will ever wear a hood!" Fortunately for Harry you changed your policy.
Why doesn't Logo have a hood too?
I told you! Harry just got a hood b/c it was the type of jacket they were selling at the time! Plus, Logo's jacket has fleece and Harry's doesn't, so it all equals out...
I'm surprised you or your mom hasn't made a hood for Logo. She a real pitful sight but cute in her own drowned way. G&GBOOK
Harry and Kimi could have been twins! Kimi had her rain coat on and Kirbys coat on her head like a bonnet. Kirby was sporting a new Old Navy rain coat with hood except everytime he turned his head he would be blind making him somewhat handicaped. Did we ever worry this much about our kids? NO!
