Every year after the IB seniors have taken their tests one of the activities we use to keep them busy is to send them out with sidewalk chalk to decorate campus with memorable literary quotes that they've learned during their schooling. They will often write quotes appropriate to certain locations, objects or teachers around campus (i.e. "if muisic be the food of love then play on" in front of the band roo"), but one of their strict instructions is "no writing on walls or anywhere else that is difficult to erase."
In commemoration of D-day (June 4, for you non-history buffs), some kids wrote this on the wall next to their history teacher's classroom.
