A day at the beach

A couple of weeks ago we went down to Long Beach with Mom and Dad (I know, I know, posting out of order). It was the first time that the hounds had been to Long Beach and we took them down to the same little cove that we'd been to with Bear before. This time the tide was coming in, but there was still room for the dogs to run. Obviously, they are much faster than Dad.

Logo decided to explore the massive amounts of driftwood and got herself trapped.

True to Logo form, this didn't trip her up for very long.

Later we went down to the Sid Snyder approach while the wind was blowing and creating a huge sandstorm. It stayed low enough to not bother the dogs and looked like something out of Star Wars.

The dogs like walking on the hard sand, but Logo makes some freaky-looking footprints.

Sunday morning we watched Dad fly his kite (a birthday present from us!) before the bad weather rolled in.

After the long weekend, both dogs slept soundly all the way home!
